YfEj - Integration of a candidate into the company

You have hired a European candidate aged 18-35 for a minimum of 6 months and you want him/her to be better integrated into your SME. With "Your first EURES job", you can receive financial support to help integrate this newly recruited employee.

Financial support is available to facilitate the integration of one or more newly recruited young Europeans into your company, employing up to 250 staff.

The amount of support is a flat-rate sum and varies according to the type of integration programme, the number of participants and the country where the company is located.

You must justify your request and specify the measures that will be put in place to create an appropriate integration programme. “Your first EURES job” support services can help you with this.

The aim of this programme is to adapt the candidate’s skills to a foreign work environment.

The programme should last for a specified time and should take place at the beginning of the period of employment.

Training may be individual or in groups and may take place in the workplace, outside the workplace or online.

Integration programme

The programme may include one or more of the following modules:

  • Induction training to familiarise the candidate with the company (organisation, values, managerial practices, etc.), to help acquire specific skills and benefit from professional mentoring.
  • A language course to strengthen the candidate’s linguistic skills (provided that he/she has not already received financial support for a language course from YfEj).
  • Administrative support to help candidates settle in the country: looking for accommodation, formalities with healthcare services, tax bodies, etc.

  • You have a maximum of 250 employees.
